Stomach Flattening Exercises

Barbell Front Squats: These are the most demanding but the most effective exercises. They take a tremendous amount of, well everything out of you. You’ll be sweating by the time you’re done with your first set. Position the barbell to the front of your shoulders instead of across your back.

Row push-up: This move works your abs, pecks, back, shoulders and arms. Start in a push-up position with your hands on dumbbells. Do a push-up and then row one dumbbell up to your chest. Do another push-up and then row the other hand up to your chest.

Plank: lay stomach down with your forearms on the floor pointing forward and your body straight.  Raise your body off the floor so that it is supported by your forearms and your toes.   Your body is to remain straight with no sagging.  Hold this position for 30 seconds.

Bench step ups with overhead press: You need to burn as much calories as possible. So you need to employ a movement that will work several muscle groups at the same time.

Oblique Twists: you will require a small medicine ball or lightweight dumbbell will also do.  Sit on the floor with your knees at a 45 degree angle holding the medicine ball in front of you.  Twist your body to the right bringing the medicine ball to your side.  Next, in a controlled manner, bring the medicine ball to the left side.  Continue alternating from side to side for 30 seconds.
