You can also do the full roll up. With pilates ball exercises you need to lie down on the floor on your back making sure that your legs are straight and together. Now take the ball held in your hands over your head making sure that as your hands go over your head your ribs remain closed and the spine is still in contact with the floor. As you lift the ball make sure that you inhale and then as you move the ball back down across your body exhale curling your head and shoulders so that they are raised off the floor. Keep moving the ball along your body so that your spine rolls up until the ball is over your knees. Now inhale once more and remain in this position for several seconds before you slowly start to roll your body out once more to the original position you started in.
